2.4. Strong relationships are a marathon, NOT a sprint; like steel, they are forged by trust, honesty, care and time.
2.5. A leader's personal example matters. // Daily demonstrations of goodwill, respect, caring, and gratitude from a leader are an important component of healthy teamwork.

2.14. Just as it takes time and practice for a child to learn to walk, it takes time and practice for team members to learn to make effective decisions. Encourage team members to practice decision making and provide positive reinforcement for early successes.
2.15. Many leaders dream of an independent, strong team that can quickly and effectively solve any problems; but few are willing to invest their time, soul, love and patience into creating the appropriate conditions.
